Malaga is the capital city of the province of Malaga, the second largest in Andalucia and the sixth largest in Spain; according to records, the population of Malaga was in the region of 567,000 inhabitants. The total population of the region including the greater Malaga area as well as satellite towns & villages is over 1.1 million inhabitants.
